Mashed Potato Casserole
Mashed Potato Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with between 15 and 20 potatoes, 1 pt. sour cream, 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/4 c. chopped chives and 1 tbsp. garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook potatoes without salt.
Mash with a little milk and butter. Mix all other ingredients (except Velveeta cheese) with the mashed potatoes.
In a 9 x 13-inch pan, spread half of the potato mixture.
Layer Velveeta cheese slices.
Top with remaining potato mixture. Dot with butter and cover with foil. Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
