Martha Washington Candy
Martha Washington Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. butter, 2 lb. confectioners sugar, 1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 qt. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cream butter.
Add sugar and milk alternately, a little at a time, until well mixed.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Roll into small pieces and let stand at least 4 hours.
Then melt chocolate and paraffin into a small boiler.
When slightly cool, dip each piece of candy into the chocolate mixture on end of toothpick.
