Marshann's Peachy Chicken
Marshann'S Peachy Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 chicken breasts, halved, 1/2 c. flour, salt and pepper, 2 t. butter and 2 t. cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Shake chicken pieces in a bag with the flour, salt and pepper.
Brown in butter and oil.
Place browned chicken in a greased 3-quart casserole dish.
Combine orange juice with vinegar, sugar, basil and nutmeg.
Pour over chicken.
Cover and bake at 375Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tender, basting often.
Place peach or apricot halves between the chicken pieces, basting well.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes longer.
Serves 6. This is good served over rice.
