Marinated Sliced Pickles
Marinated Sliced Pickles is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (32 oz.) jar dill sliced pickles (vlasic or other brand can be used), drained well, 2 1/2 c. sugar (2 2/3 if you prefer sweeter pickles), 1/2 c. vinegar (white) and 2 tbsp. pickling spice, put in cheesecloth is best (can be used loose also), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a large bowl, marinate at room temperature for 24 to 30 hours.
Mix occasionally during marinating.
Then you can store in jars (whatever size you want).
If spices are in cheesecloth, throw them away.
Refrigerate.
Keeps for weeks.
