Marinated Slaw
Marinated Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large cabbage, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 large green pepper, chopped, 3/4 c. crisco oil and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Shred cabbage in a large bowl.
Place chopped onion and green pepper on top of cabbage.
Sprinkle sugar evenly on top.
Bring oil, vinegar, mustard, celery seed and salt to a boil.
Pour over cabbage while hot.
Don't stir.
Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours (better if refrigerated overnight).
Stir mixture and drain before serving.
