Marinated Salad
Marinated Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (10 oz.) cans chopped sauerkraut, washed well and drained, 1/2 c. chopped fine green bell pepper, 1 medium onion, chopped fine, 1 large carrot, chopped fine and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Bring to boil the sugar, oil, vinegar and water.
Cool to lukewarm and pour over sauerkraut, pepper, onion and carrot. Chill; keep in covered bowl.
Will keep 2 or more weeks.
