Mardi Gras Fruit Cake
Mardi Gras Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine until smooth, butter and cream cheese.
Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
Stir in vanilla; add eggs, beating well after each.
Stir together and add 2 1/2 cups flour and baking powder. Combine chopped cherries, chopped pineapple, nuts and 1/4 cup flour.
Add creamed mixture.
Spoon into greased bundt pan or 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans and bake at 325Β° for 60 to 80 minutes. (Test for doneness after 60 minutes.)
