Marble Squares
Marble Squares is an impressive dinner. Made with 8 oz. softened cream cheese, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 c. butter and 3/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine first 2 ingredients; mix well.
Add 1 egg and mix.
Set aside.
In saucepan, combine butter, water and chocolate.
Bring to a boil.
Add 2 eggs, sour cream, baking soda, salt, flour and sugar.
Mix well.
Pour into greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
Spoon cheese mixture over chocolate batter.
Cut through with knife several times for marbled effect. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
