Mandel Brats
Mandel Brats is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix ingredients (except for extra sugar) together, adding chocolate chips last because dough will be stiff.
Spread onto a greased cookie sheet (12 x 24-inch).
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Cut into bars.
Turn bars onto side and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; bake at 350° for an additional 10 minutes.
Turn bars on other side and repeat process.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and bake another 10 minutes.
Makes about 7 dozen cookies. Goes great with a cup of coffee.
