Mandarin Torte
Mandarin Torte is an easy dinner. Made with 1 small angel food cake, 2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello, 1 pt. orange sherbet, 1 (12 oz.) cool whip and 2 small cans mandarin oranges, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Tear angel food cake into small pieces and place in large bowl. Dissolve jello in hot water and pour over angel food cake; stir. Add orange sherbet to mixture and stir until sherbet is dissolved. Fold in Cool Whip until mixed well.
Drain mandarin oranges (may reserve a few for garnish, if desired).
Stir in and pour in 9-inch spring-form pan.
Refrigerate overnight.
