Made with 3 whole broiler-fryer chicken breasts, halved, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. ground pepper, 1/4 c. corn oil and 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange segments, drained (1/2 c. juice reserved), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Sprinkle breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat corn oil in frypan over medium heat.

Place chicken in pan, skin side down; saute until golden brown.

In a bowl, mix together orange juice, soy sauce and flour until smooth.

Stir in pineapple, onion salt, Accent, mustard, vinegar and garlic powder.

Place browned chicken in large, shallow baking dish; pour sauce over chicken.

Cover; bake in a 350Β° oven for 1 hour, basting occasionally.

Add orange segments and green pepper; continue baking 5 minutes, or until chicken is done.

Serve sauce over rice.

Makes 6 servings.
