Mamie Eisenhower Fudge
Mamie Eisenhower Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. sugar, pinch of salt, 1 stick butter, 1 large can evaporated milk and 12 oz. chocolate pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Boil the first 4 items for 6 minutes.
Put chocolate bits, German sweet chocolate, Marshmallow Crème and vanilla in a large bowl.
Pour boiling syrup over and beat until chocolate is melted and mixture is creamy.
Add 2 cups of nuts, if desired.
Pour in a shallow pan and cut into squares after set.
Makes 5 pounds.
Do not refrigerate.
