Mama's One Dish Meal
Mama'S One Dish Meal is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 onion, 1 c. celery, 1/2 c. green pepper and 1 stick oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown ground beef; saute onion, celery and pepper in oleo. Mix with beef; add rice, water, tomatoes and chili powder.
Cover and cook on top of stove until rice is done.
(You may need more water.)
When done, add 1 can kidney beans.
This can be put in casserole dish and topped with grated American cheese.
