Make Ahead Mashed Potato Casserole
Make Ahead Mashed Potato Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 large potatoes, cooked with 1 tsp. salt, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 c. sour cream, 2 tsp. (or more) butter and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oven to 350Β°. After cooking potatoes, mash them well.
Add the cream cheese, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper.
Whip or beat with electric mixer. (If too thick, add a little milk so they are fluffy.) Grease with margarine a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
Dot with bits of butter.
Sprinkle with Lawry's seasoned salt.
At this point, it can be baked for 25 minutes or if doing ahead, cover, refrigerate and bake the following day.
Serves 10 to 12.
