Magic Apple Cobbler
A self-saucing skillet cobbler where buttered batter rises around sliced apples while sugar and nutmeg form a crackly cinnamon crust. Magic in a single dish.

Melt butter and spoon a little into a large, glass baking dish (to grease it).
Arrange the apple slices in the bottom of the dish.
