Macaroons
Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, 2 tbsp. margarine, 1/3 c. sugar, 2 eggs slightly beaten and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt chocolate with margarine in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Blend in sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla; beat well.
Stir in coconut.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.
Leaving 1 1/2 inches between.
Bake at 325Β° for 15 minutes.
Cool on racks.
Makes about 3 dozen.
