Macaroon Pie
Macaroon Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 18 small soda crackers (break in pieces), 3 egg whites, 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 c. sugar and 1 c. nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Egg whites until foamy.
Fold in cream of tartar, beat until stiff.
Fold in sugar, crackers, nuts and vanilla. Spread in buttered cake pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 30 minutes. Let cool. Whip cream stiff, fold in preserves and spread on pie.
Let stand before cutting.
