Boil macaroni for 8 to 10 minutes in salt.
Drain, do not rinse.
Pour into mixing bowl; add cheese, beaten egg, milk and pepper.
Mix well.
Pour into casserole dish, dot with butter. Bake at 450Β° until brown.
