Macaroni Casserole
Macaroni Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni, 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, 1 medium onion, chopped and sauteed and 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook macaroni by package directions.
Brown onions and ground beef.
Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, oregano and garlic; simmer for a few minutes.
In layers, start with sauce in baking dish.
Add 1/2 macaroni; top with more sauce and 1/2 of grated cheese.
Add the rest of the macaroni.
Pour rest of sauce over casserole; top with remaining cheese.
Garnish with 3 or 4 slices of green pepper.
Bake at 300° to 325° for about 30 minutes.
