Macadamia Cookies
Macadamia Cookies is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 26 minutes. Made with c. butter or margarine, softened, c. vegetable shortening, c. firmly packed light brown sugar, c. granulated sugar and egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl cream butter, shortening and sugars until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix until a soft dough forms. Stir in white chocolate and macadamia nuts.
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
Transfer to wire rack to cool.
