M&M Cookies
M&M Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (crisco), 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the Crisco, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together the flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients gradually to the creamed mixture; mix well.
Stir in 1/2 cup of M&M's.
Reserve remaining M&M's for decorating.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet.
Decorate tops of cookies with reserved candies. Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
