Lower Calorie Granola
Lower Calorie Granola is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. rolled oats, 1 1/2 c. wheat germ, 1/4 c. dry milk, 1/4 c. chopped, unsalted nuts or seeds and 1/2 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix oats, wheat germ, dry milk and chopped nuts in a large bowl.
Heat and stir oil and honey in a small saucepan until blended.
Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon and vanilla. Drizzle honey mixture over oat mixture and stir thoroughly.
Spread on 2 cookie sheets.
Bake at 300Β° for 10 minutes.
Remove and stir well.
Bake 10 minutes more; remove and stir.
Bake 5 minutes more. Cool completely.
Add raisins and store in an airtight container. Serving size
1/4 cup.
