Low-Fat Cornbread
Low-Fat Cornbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. ballard cornbread mix, 1 c. no-fat buttermilk and 1 egg or 1/4 c. egg beaters, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Heat oven to 400°.
Place cast-iron frying pan in oven while oven heats.
Mix ingredients until well-blended.
Take pan from oven and spray with Pam.
Pour in batter.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
Turn cornbread over and bake for 5 more minutes.
(This is called "sweating" the cornbread).
