Logan Bread
Logan Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. whole wheat flour, 3 c. white flour, 2 1/2 c. oatmeal, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1 c. honey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix together flours, oatmeal, brown sugar, honey, molasses and powdered milk.
Add eggs and rest of ingredients, stirring well. Pour into 4 (9 x 9-inch) greased cake pans and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until done.
The bread is extremely rich and one piece is enough per meal.
It is an excellent winter camping bread as the high oil content prevents it from freezing like other breads.
