Lizzies
Lizzies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 eggs, well beaten, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1 1/2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream sugar and butter thoroughly.
Add beaten eggs.
Sift together flour, soda and spices.
Add to egg mixture.
Add milk and bourbon; mixing well.
Add nuts, citron and candied cherries. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake in moderately slow oven (325Β°) for 25 minutes.
These are wonderful for eggnog or Tom and Jerry parties.
Yields six dozen cookies.
