Lime Salad
Lime Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 large marshmallows, 1 c. milk, 1 large pkg. lime jell-o, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain) and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In top of double boiler over boiling water on medium heat melt marshmallows in milk.
Add gelatin, stir until dissolved.
Add cream cheese until smooth.
Remove from heat and add undrained pineapple and refrigerate until thickened.
Fold in whipped cream, mayonnaise and sugar.
Pour into large (9 x 13-inch) Pyrex dish or 2 medium molds.
Refrigerate.
Especially good with turkey and dressing.
