Slice cucumbers
1/4-inch with lime water. Soak 24 hours. with wooden spoon. Rinse well and cover with fresh water for 3 hours.
Drain and cover with solution of next 7 ingredients, then let stand overnight. In a.m., place over heat and boil gently for 30 or 40 minutes, then can.
