Lima Bean Casserole
Lima Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. canned lima beans (if using frozen, need more liquid), 2 tbsp. onion, grated, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 3 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain liquid from beans.
Mix beans with the grated onion, salt and pepper.
Melt butter.
Add crumbs and stir until butter is absorbed.
Blend the mushroom soup with the liquid from the beans.
Arrange alternate layers of beans, soup and buttered crumbs in greased, uncovered casserole.
Top with crumbs.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
