Light'n Lean Chicken
Light'N Lean Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 chicken breast halves, boned and skinned, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 2 cloves garlic, peeled and halved, 1 c. low sodium chicken broth and 1/2 c. white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray.
Heat to medium and add chicken.
Season with 1/4 teaspoonful pepper.
Cook about 10 minutes, turning once, or until browned evenly.
Reduce temperature and add garlic.
Continue cooking 10 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken to serving plate.
Add broth and wine to garlic cloves.
Bring to a boil and continue boiling 5 minutes.
Reduce heat.
Combine milk and seasonings, add to cooking juices in pan.
Heat and stir until slightly thickened. Return chicken to pan and sprinkle with chives.
Baste chicken with cooking juices.
Heat through.
Very good with rice.
Makes 4 servings.
