Light 'N Easy Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse corn meal.
Add milk and stir until blended.
Place dough on lightly floured surface. Knead lightly.
Roll dough to a 9-inch square. Place dough into ungreased 9-inch square pan.
Cut through dough in squares. Bake at 425Β° for 15 to 18 minutes.
When baked, biscuits will separate at cut lines.
