Lentil Soup
Lentil Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. lentils, 5 qt. water, 2 cloves garlic, chopped, 4 large onions, chopped and 3 celery stalks, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Wash lentils and soak in water overnight; drain.
Bring 5 quarts of water to a boil.
Saute onions, garlic and celery in vegetable oil and add to boiling water.
Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil again.
Lower heat; cover and cook 2 1/2 hours.
Add additional seasonings to taste prior to serving.
