Lemon Tea Bread
Lemon Tea Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 2 large eggs and 2 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Beat cream cheese and butter at high speed of electric mixer until creamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to cream cheese mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Mix after each addition.
Stir in almonds.
