Lemon Sheet Cake
Lemon Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks margarine (at room temperature), 2 c. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 c. nuts (optional) and 16 oz. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix margarine, flour, sugar and 1/2 cup nuts together like cookie dough.
Press evenly in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 15 minutes.
Set aside to cool.
Mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar and 1/2 container of Cool Whip.
Spread on cooled crust.
Make lemon pie filling as directed on box, but only use sugar amount per 1 box.
Cool and spread over cheese layer.
Top with remainder of Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
