Lemon Nut Cake
Lemon Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 1 lb. oleo or butter, 2 c. sugar, 1 lb. white raisins and 4 c. chopped pecans (1 lb.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix flour, raisins, pecans, salt and baking powder in a bag and shake.
Cream egg yolks, butter and sugar.
Add this to the flour mixture and beat.
Fold in beaten egg whites and lemon extract mixture.
Use loaf pans.
This makes 2 medium size or 1 angel food pan.
Bake at 300` for 1 1/2 hours.
