Mix the first 7 ingredients in order given, adding one egg at a time.
Beat well.
Bake in two (8 x 5-inch) loaf pans (greased and floured) at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
Before removing from pans, mix the rest of ingredients and pour over loaves.
Let set 10 minutes.
Remove from pans; cool on wire racks.
