Lemon-Lime Salad
Lemon-Lime Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. lemon jello, 1 pkg. lime jello, 1 c. boiling water, 18 large marshmallows and 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Make the jello, using 1 cup of water. Add marshmallows. Let them melt
And cool the mixture. Add pineapple and cream cheese and mix well, then add whipped cream and mix well. Pour in molded deep dish and put in refrigerator (or "icebox," as my grandmother wrote on the recipe). When it is chilled/molded, cut into squares. Serves 12. Must do ahead (for chilling).
