Lemon-Fried Chicken
Lemon-Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 3 1/2 lb. fryer and 1/4 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cut fryer in quarters.
Combine lemon juice, oil and seasoning to make marinade.
Pour over chicken. Be sure all chicken parts are in contact with marinade.
Marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator. Drain chicken. Dust with flour. Heat oil in heavy skillet.
Place chicken in hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.
Bake in a 350Β° oven about 30 minutes or until tender. Makes 4 servings.
