Mix sugar, flour and corn meal.
Add eggs and butter.
Mix well.
Add buttermilk and lemon juice.
Mix well.
Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes.
When begins to brown, cover with foil to prevent burning.
