Lemon Cake Pie
Lemon Cake Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. flour, 1/4 c. melted oleo, 1/8 tsp. salt and 2 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
👨🍳 Instructions
Bake pie shell 5 minutes in 350° oven.
Combine sugar, flour, oleo, salt and egg yolks.
Beat until smooth; add lemon juice and milk and beat well.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Gently fold into first mixture.
Pour into cooled pie shell and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until filling is firm.
This bakes like a cake but the inside is like a pie.
