Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 c. oleo, 1 c. sugar and 2 beaten eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and lemon juice.
Let stand.
Cream together oleo, 1 cup sugar, eggs, lemon rind, milk, flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour creamed ingredients into a loaf pan and bake 45 to 55 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Pour lemon juice and sugar mixture over warm loaf.
Let cool in pan.
