Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 large lemon, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1/4 c. xxxx sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Grate lemon peel and add to creamed mixture.
Add eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and milk to creamed mix.
Blend well.
Stir in nuts.
Put in greased pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Combine lemon juice and xxxx sugar; pour over hot loaf.
