Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. oleo, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. milk and 1 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
Add grated rind or lemon.
Bake in loaf pan 350Β° for 1 hour.
Cool 5 to 10 minutes.
Mix sugar and juice of 1 lemon and pour over bread.
Let stand 1/2 hour then remove from pan.
Makes 1 loaf.
