Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1 c. lemon marmalade, 1 tbsp. butter, melted and cooled, 2 c. flour and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Beat egg in large bowl until thickened.
Add marmalade and butter until well blended.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Combine buttermilk and lemon juice. Alternately add dry and liquid ingredients in thirds to egg mixture, stirring until well mixed.
Fold in walnuts.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool in pan 5 minutes.
Invert onto wire rack.
