Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. margarine or butter, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. milk and rind of lemon grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix butter or margarine and sugar.
Add the 2 eggs and beat. Add milk, lemon rind, flour, salt, baking powder and nuts.
Put in 1 large or 2 small bread pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Mix juice of one lemon and 1/2 cup sugar.
When done poke holes in bread and pour lemon/sugar mixture over the top.
