Lemon Bars
Lemon Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. butter, softened, 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 2 c. sugar and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Mix together 2 1/4 cups of flour, the butter and confectioners sugar in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
Remove and press dough into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in preheated oven.
Remove from oven.
Beat the sugar, lemon juice, 1/4 cup flour, the eggs and lemon peel until well mixed.
Pour over hot crust.
Return to oven and bake an additional 20 minutes or until set.
Cool on wire rack and cut into bars.
Center will be soft.
Dust with confectioners sugar. These freeze well.
