Lemon Bars

Sift the 2 cups flour and the confectioners sugar.
Cut in the butter until mixture clings together.
Press in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Beat together the eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice.
Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and baking powder; stir into egg mixture.
Pour over baked crust.
Bake in a 350° oven 25 minutes longer.
Sprinkle with additional confectioners sugar.
Cool; cut into bars.
