Leftover Oatmeal Cake
Leftover Oatmeal Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. water, 1 c. quick oats, 1 stick oleo, 3 eggs and 1 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Boil water.
Add oats; stir and set aside to cool.
(Or, use the leftover oatmeal from breakfast instead of throwing it out.) Mix oleo, eggs, brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon.
Add flour, soda and salt.
Add cooled oatmeal and mix.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Frost or dust with powdered sugar as desired or serve with whipped cream.
May be served hot or cold.
