Layered Salad
Layered Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, torn into pieces, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 (8 oz.) jar miracle whip, 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese and 1 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a nonmetal, oblong pan, layer as follows: lettuce, celery, onion, green pepper and peas.
In a bowl, combine Miracle Whip and sugar.
Spoon onto the layered ingredients.
Sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits.

May be mixed before serving or serve as is.
