Layered Bean Dip
Layered Bean Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (16 oz.) cans refried beans, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 envelope taco seasoning mix, 3/4 c. water and 1 1/2 c. shredded lettuce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Spread refried beans in casserole dish or platter.
Brown ground beef and drain.
Add taco seasoning mix and water.
Cook and stir on medium heat, 10 to 15 minutes.
Spread over refried beans. Arrange layers of lettuce, salsa and cheese on top of meat. Garnish with desired toppings: sour cream, guacamole, black olive slices and jalapeΓ±o slices. Serve with tortilla chips.
Makes 14 to 16 appetizer servings.
