Lasagne
Lasagne is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small pkg. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. sausage, 15 oz. can tomato sauce and 8 oz. can tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown ground beef and sausage.
Drain.
Add tomato sauce and tomato paste.
Simmer.
In separate bowl, mix Ricotta cheese and eggs.
Stir well until creamy.
Place a layer of noodles in a 9 x 12-inch pan.
Pour half of meat sauce over noodles.
Pour half of Ricotta cheese mixture over this.
Sprinkle with half of Mozzarella cheese.
Cover with sliced Cheddar cheese.
Pour rest of meat sauce over another layer of noodles.
Layer as before using rest of everything.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes or until cheese is lightly brown.
Let set 30 minutes before serving.
